Cowboy Heritage Artists & Photographers Society
The finest Cowboy, Rodeo and Western artists and photographers from across America and Canada are joining forces under CHAPS to promote our Western Heritage through their chosen mediums. Our art depicts our love of the western lifestyle and we are working to help promote it into the new millenium. We document the life and story of rodeo, the cowboys, the ranchers, the native americans, the horses, dogs and cattle that have made America truly the home of the stong and the brave.

Promoting your Art

Each artist who would like to join CHAPS, is required to submit 3 samples of their work to CHAPS. The samples, which may be entered via email, will go through a jury process. The jury process fee is $25. Three member artists will jury the applicant's work for artistic quality, authenticity and use of the medium. At least one of the 3 jurors will be known for using the same medium. If accepted, you will be alerted by email, at which point the membership fee is due.

If for some reason, your work is not accepted, reasons will be given and we will be happy to provide you with suggestions if you'd like to resubmit in the future.

The highlight of the year is our Annual Art Show and Sale in Las Vegas, NV during the National Finals Rodeo in December at the Excalibur Hotel. Other shows around the country will be offered as well.

CHAPS Initial Membership fee is $125. The yearly dues are $30.

The fee to enter the Annual Show and Sale will be announced as soon as we are informed. We will be sending our entry fees directly to the Excalibur, details to follow.
