About The Artist
New Jersey Artist,
Gail Guenther
has been drawing and painting since childhood. Gail attended Moore
College of Art in Philadelphia, and spent most of her career in advertising,
including having her own agency for 
over 12 years. In 1996, after a trip to Utah,
Gail resumed painting after 20 years in advertising which kept her away
from the easel. Gail's portraits and paintings have been purchased
by clients in NJ, NY, VA, SC, MS, OK, TX, ID, CA, NV, OH, Canada and Brazil.
Gail paints in acrylics
and oils.
In 2000, Gail sold her home and purchased a new motor home to help
fulfill her dream of traveling West and painting people, critters and
landscapes. Her journey lasted seven months, finally ending in Elko,
Nevada for the 17th Annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Gail completed
43 paintings while on the road.
Gail consistently donates artwork to benefit charities, fund raisers,
and horse show awards. She has painted nearly every discipline of riding.
Western scenes, family, pet and horse portraits done on the road make
up the bulk of Gail's work.
As a charter member of CHAPS (Cowboy Heritage Artists and Photographers Society), Gail was responsible for running the annual show and sale held during the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
